Project List
The goal of the project is to achieve ” a significant increase in environmental literacy”. The objectives are to: (i) create a series of programmes on television and on-line with e-media books and print components within 12 months; (ii) give pupils the knowledge and skills to preserve and care for water resources and demonstrate this through evaluation exercises within 18 months; and (iii) encourage and prepare teachers in addressing climate change and environmental issues within 18 months. Project activities will include writing of scripts, hiring a consultant, production, baseline study, M & E, funding of micro school projects, and holding of workshops. A major output will be the production of 50 videos in English and Kwéyol and their dissemination using electronic and ICT formats. This project will be contributing to the CPS crosscutting theme or outcome: “A larger percentage of publics are aware, are advocates , and are taking positive action as collective stewards of the environment”.
