Project List
This project will establish Saint Lucia’s first research and innovation institute dedicated to among other goals to establish a mechanism for the sustainable capacity development of CSOs in Saint Lucia. The project objectives are to: (i) establish an effective and an efficient system for sustainable research and innovation at the SALCC within six months; (ii) design and establish a capacity development programme for CSOs which will enhance their skills in organizational development and project implementation and management; (iii) begin the process of establishing strong links with communities which will address sustainable development challenges and generate benefits; and (v) distil the lessons from the project which will serve as the basis for future development of the Institute for Research and Innovation.
